Sunday Sermon!

Sunday Sermon!

Hello my loyal disciples! The time has come to tighten things down. I would be lying if I said that I am not a little bit sad that the see food diet is over, and the ability to blow off the gym is over as well. There is a certain freedom that one enjoys when fucking around. Truthfully, I was living the life of someone who had just purchased an expensive house or car that they cannot really afford. Life seems amazing until the bill comes due. These past few weeks have been amazing; I have kept all my gains and my body composition has remained unchanged. However, if I kept on this path of eating whatever I wanted and drinking beers, the bill would be too expensive for me to pay, and all my hard work would be undone. I have slowly been spiraling into control. I gave up drinking on 4/1 and will not be touching a drop of alcohol until June 13, which is my 30th birthday. I am doing Mark Sisson’s version of the keto diet until July 4th. That is the date that I have to have a 6 pack or I am out a considerable amount of money. I am feeling very confident about my impending victory!

Starting tomorrow everything goes back to how it was pre all-star break. I will be doing daily doubles 6 days per week, with one active recovery day. All my meals will be posted as well, which brings me to my next topic. I promised the church a challenge, and I have delivered. I am sure that it will need to be revised and restructured, but this is what I have thus far.

60 day Church Of The Chubby Challenge Rules

  1. You must drink one gallon of water everyday

  2. You must engage in active visualization or meditation everyday

  3. You must workout two times per day 6 days a week. Day seven can be a rest day, but I encourage you to use it as an active recovery day

  4. Read 10 pages of any book every day

  5. 20 minutes of stretching every day

  6. Pick a diet stick to it

  7. Absolutely no alcohol

As you can tell, I have borrowed some of the staples of the 75 hard, and added a few ideas of my own. I hope you accept this challenge, and I hope that it changes your life for the better. There are many ups and downs in this circus known as life; I hope this challenge will help you to punch your ticket out of the cage that the chub has been keeping us all in. I have missed writing my Sunday sermons and I am very excited to get back to what I do best - lifting, chasing my dreams, and growing the church. That battle against the chub rages on tomorrow. May the Church of the Chubby reign supreme! I will chat with you all tomorrow - thanks for reading.
