Sort of Sunday sermon

Hello my loyal disciples! I have been quiet for a long time. The first thing that I would like to address is that I have indeed been lifting on average. I would say that I hit the gym 3 to 4 times per week. I am not thrilled at the number, but something is better than nothing. The second thing I would like to address is my diet. It has been a lot worse at various points in my life, but it isn't terrible. Thirdly, I am still running six miles a week. Fourth, I still hate running with an immense passion. I will never give up on the church of the chubby. That said, I need to get my ass in gear and get back in the habit of writing all my meals and workouts. At the very least, writing a sermon two times per month. There has been a slight shift in my life. I am back in the office for work. I never thought I would say this, but I am so grateful to be back in the office. However, this has forced me to adapt to a new routine. I must remember, now more than ever, to think and plan ahead. Nonetheless, I have been doing a pretty good job at meal prepping and hitting my monthly goals overall.

I am very happy with how things are going in my life. My goals for July are to get back to lifting 5 days per week and reading 10 pages of a book each day. There have been many ups and downs these past few months, but I am extremely fortunate to have kept up my routine. It is important to do one hard thing each day. Most of the time my “one hard thing” is going to the gym, but sometimes it is just getting out of bed. I think it is pretty safe to assume we all have days like that. Thankfully, I keep having less of them. That is progress my friends! The battle against the chub rages on! May the church of the Chubby reign supreme!
