Sunday Sermon!

Hello my loyal disciples! This week has been very interesting. I have had to fight off being lazy more than I care to admit. However, I was able to reach my goal of running 6 miles this week and I was able to complete 2000 kettlebell swings. I am a little bit behind in the kettlebell challenge but am confident that I can make up some ground this upcoming week. I am always striving to be a better human, but this week felt kind of off. If I had to guess as to why that is, I would wager a lot of this has to do with my sleep schedule. I have not been getting nearly as much sleep as I require, and the foods I have been consuming have not been optimal towards my goals. Getting better is a long and winding process. Sometimes the path is straight and you can see your goal ahead. Other times, you cannot see what you are seeking at all. I feel like I am the latter. I cannot see what I am seeking, but I am still walking and that in itself is a pretty damn good win.

Today is a very special day. It is Mother’s Day! I am extremely blessed to have an amazing mother. I was lucky enough to have a mother who instilled in me compassion, understanding, and drive. She has always believed in me and always supported my lavish and often crazy dreams. She has only enhanced my life and has always helped me. So if you are a mother and you are reading this, I hope you are putting your best ideas into your children and teaching them how to be resilient, gritty human beings. Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there!

My goals this week pretty much remain the same. I will run 6 miles this week and continue the 10,000 kettlebell swing challenge. In addition to this, I will be in bed by 10pm Monday through Friday. The battle against the chub rages on tomorrow! May the church of the Chubby reign supreme! I will talk with you all tomorrow, thanks for reading!
